The mission of Rugby Alabama, and we believe of sport in general, is to improve men and women of all ages both physically and mentally by challenging and strengthen the body, mind and character of its participants. Without a good coach and instructor none of this is possible.

Rugby Alabama is committed to providing certified and properly trained coaches for all teams within the state in order to ensure they have the best possible sporting experience. Rugby Alabama believes this is essential for reaching our goal of improving our athletes' lives in and out of the sport.

Quite simply coaches are a necessary and integral part of the game and Rugby Alabama fully supports training, coaching and evaluation of coaches to promote the safe enjoyment of the game for everyone.
